What are they all doing?
Went over to one guy who was typing furiously, but with one hand on his head. It looked and sounded a triffle bizarre, to say the least, and rather hoped he wasn't suffering withdrawl symptoms. Apparently, so he tells me, he's trying to see how quickly he can type "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." one hundred times, one handed.

Glostrup roadworks strike again
Annoyed? Yes I am! It's getting to be a bit beyond a joke when my tires are lasting longer than my wheels!
Get onto Glostrup Council and ask who is going to pay for the continuing damage to my bicycle, due to these seemingly unending roadworks, and get the reply: "It's like wear and tear, innit."
I like to tear them a new one and say likewise I'm sure.
Took it to my local bicycle shop and they're going to rebuild the whole wheel with thicker spokes. Really hope that helps and doesn't slow me down too much.

Purple, it's a warning!
As I noticed the purpleness, I had one of them OMG moments, and hit the brakes, hard. Just as I did that the lady wearing the purple dress cut out in front of me.
Hence I narrowly avoided a serious accident.
"Undskyld!" (sorry) she says.
"Oh, don't fuss, I saw the purple dress and just knew you were going to do something dangerous."
"Shut up!" was the reply.
Wonder if it was something I said?

MTB HotCup 2007 NCK Tysker Plantagen (Hillerød)
Well, I didn't win, but I don't think I came last... Managed two laps, and as I crossed the finish line, a deliberately narrowed zig-zag so an RFID system could take out times, someone crashed into the back of me...
Had a spectacular crash just after the start, right in front of a camera crew that I'd been chatting to earlier. Cleats jammed in the pedals so I was still attached and holding onto the bike when I ended right-side up at the bottom.
"If that ends up on the editing room floor I'm sending it to Worlds Funniest Videos." I heard one of them shout laughingly as I worked out which day of the week it was.
Buggered the bike up and I bent bits so I was stuck single speeding with the chain dragging, slapping and sucking for most of the course. Have a lovely collection of cuts and bruises, yet I feel great!

A picture of me with the usual stupid look on my face Why do they always take a picture of me with a silly grin? Do I go about with a grin all the time? Maybe...

A Video but not the video, or maybe one has to buy the whole DVD? Dunno. I'll be back on this point.

Fleeing the Tiger
Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and dangled over the fatal precipice. As he hung there, two mice appeared from a hole in the cliff and began gnawing on the vine.
Suddenly, he noticed on the vine a plump wild strawberry. He plucked it and popped it in his mouth. It was incredibly delicious!

Bird Whistle
At the end of the summer, it came time for the first Harvard home football game. When the referee walked onto the field and blew his whistle, the game had to be delayed for half an hour to wait for the birds to get off the field.
The student wrote a thesis on this project... and graduated.
